Dr. Sampada S. Jahagirdar is a distinguished academician, clinician, and researcher in the field of Physiotherapy with over 18 years of experience in teaching, clinical practice, research, and academic administration.
Known for her student-centric approach and engaging teaching methodology, Dr. Jahagirdar is highly regarded by students for her approachable nature, academic mentorship, and ability to simplify complex clinical concepts through practical and evidence-based learning. Over the years, she has taught and mentored undergraduate and postgraduate students in neurological physiotherapy, rehabilitation sciences, research methodology, and clinical practice, inspiring many young professionals to pursue excellence in physiotherapy and research.
She holds a Ph.D. in Physiotherapy and a Master’s degree in Neurological Physiotherapy, with expertise in geriatric rehabilitation, stroke rehabilitation, motor learning, and neurorehabilitation. Reflecting her commitment to staying aligned with emerging trends in healthcare and education,
she has also completed the Executive Programme in Healthcare for Industry 5.0 from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. She has guided postgraduate research dissertations, contributed to curriculum development, coordinated academic and examination activities, and actively participated in institutional ethics and research committees. Her dedication towards academic quality, innovation in teaching, and professional development has significantly contributed to the growth of physiotherapy education.
